Rear Muffler With Center Muffler, Removing And Installing, AUDI Q7/Q8 Without Separating Point: Removing

-- Remove the center underbody trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Loosen the rear of the left and right front wheel housing liners and move them a bit to the side. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Loosen the clamping sleeve -arrows- and push toward the rear.

-- Slightly lower the front muffler and remove the clamping sleeve.

-- Tie up the front muffler.

CAUTION:

Risk of accident due to the heavy weight of the muffler.

- A second technician is required for the following work steps.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -3- and disengage the retaining loop -1- (example illustration).

-- Remove the bolt -4- and remove the muffler -2- (example image).
