Intake Valve
- Do not rework, only grinding is permitted
- Mark the installed position for reinstallation.
- Valve Dimensions. Refer to VALVE DIMENSIONS .
- Valve Guides, Checking. Refer to VALVE GUIDES, CHECKING .
Lower Valve Spring Retainer
Valve Stem Seal
- There are different versions. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information for the allocation.
- Replacing. Refer to VALVE STEM SEALS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Valve Spring
- Installation position:
  - Intake Valve. Refer to Fig 2.
  - Exhaust Valve. Refer to Fig 3.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to VALVE SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Upper Valve Spring Retainer
Valve Keepers
Roller Rocker Lever
- Mark the installation position with paint for reinstallation
- Check the roller bearing for ease of movement
- Oil the running surfaces before installing
- Clipped in with the clamp OVERVIEW - VALVETRAIN on the hydraulic lifter OVERVIEW - VALVETRAIN
Clip
- Not available separately.
- Check for secure fit
Hydraulic Lifter
- Clipped in the roller rocker lever OVERVIEW - VALVETRAIN
- Mark the installation position with paint for reinstallation
- Oil the running surfaces before installing
Cylinder Head
- Shown for cylinder bank 2 (left)
- Valve Guides, Checking. Refer to VALVE GUIDES, CHECKING .
Exhaust Valve
- Do not rework, only grinding is permitted
