Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Cam Actuator, Removing

Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Cylinder 2 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F452- / Cylinder 3 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F456- :

-- Press the release buttons on both sides and remove the hose -2- for the crankcase ventilation.

-- Disconnect the connectors and free up the wires.

1 -  For Ignition Coil 2, 3 and 4 with Power Output Stage -N127- / -N291- / -N292-

3 -  For the Cylinder 2 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F452- / Cylinder 3 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F456- :

-- Free up the coolant line with the clip on the bracket -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the bracket -2- with the vacuum reservoir -3- to the side.

Cylinder 2 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F454- / Cylinder 3 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F458-

-- If installed, remove the engine bracket upper section for the driving dynamic support. Refer to DRIVING DYNAMIC SUPPORT ENGINE BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors:

1 -  For the Engine Cover Temperature Sensor -G765-

3 -  For the Cylinder 2 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F454- / Cylinder 3 Exhaust Cam Actuator 1 -F458-

-- Press the release buttons on both sides and remove the hose -2- for the crankcase ventilation.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and push the wiring duct slightly to the side.

Cylinder 2 Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster 1 -F454-

-- Remove the cylinder bank 1 (right) oil separator. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
