Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43-, EMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• If the locking mechanism -7- is faulty, the Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43- -6- can be secured with the bolts -8-.Refer to the Parts Information.

-- If the Fragrance System Functional Unit -GX43- is replaced, the basic setting must be performed for the Fragrance Diffuser System Actuator -V687-.

Procedure 

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

-- Select the Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Diagnostic-capable systems
• 0009 - Electronic central electric - J519
• 0009 - Central electric electronic, functions
• 0009 - Basic setting for climate control functions
• → Basic setting 6, program the end stops for Fragrance Diffuser System Actuator -V687-

-- If the fragrance containers are replaced, then they must also be programmed. Refer to 440.
