-- Connect hose of pressure limiter VW 1354 to pump using original banjo bolt and metal sealing washers, Part No. N 013 808.30.

-- Remove filler cap from hydraulic fluid reservoir.

-- Install end of hose from pressure limiter VW 1354 into fluid reservoir.

-- Start engine and run at idle speed to bleed hose.

-- Switch ignition OFF.

-- Insert end of hose from pressure limiter into measuring jar.

-- Start engine and run at idle speed.

Specified pump delivery rate: must be 0.2 liters (0.21 qt) per minute or more

-- Replace hydraulic pump if delivery rate is not as specified.

-- Check all hydraulic connections for leaks.

-- Check hydraulic fluid level and top off if necessary.
