Seat Occupant Detection Sensors -G177-, -G178- And -G1010-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to REAR BENCH SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the bench seat on a clean surface.

Outer passenger occupant detection sensor:

-- Free up and disconnect the connector -arrow A- for the passenger occupant detection sensor.

-- Unclip the passenger occupant detection sensor -1- from the seat frame -arrow B- and remove.

Center passenger occupant detection sensor: 

-- Remove the bench seat cover and cushion. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the bench seat cover and cushion. Refer to COVER AND CUSHION, SEPARATING .

-- Disconnect the connector for the passenger occupant detection system pressure sensor.

-- Loosen the passenger occupant detection sensor -1- on the adhesive surfaces -arrows- carefully from the cushion and remove.
