Brake System, Checking For Leaks

-- Connect pressure gauge VAG 1310 to left front brake caliper and left rear brake caliper, and bleed both gauges.

-- Press brake pedal until gauge on front caliper shows 100 bar (1450 psi).

Hold pressure constant for 5 seconds.

During this time, the pressure on rear gauge may change by a maximum of 10 bar (145 psi).

If specified values are not achieved:

-- Replace brake pressure regulator.
