Brake Pressure Regulator, Checking And Adjusting
The brake pressure regulator is mounted on the body and is controlled from the left trapezoidal arm via a spring.
Checking function
- Vehicle resting on wheels
-- Depress brake pedal forcefully and release abruptly.
Adjusting
- Brake system filled and bled according to specification
-- Drive vehicle onto hoist.
-- Release tension from rear axle.
- Rear springs must be fully extended
-- Press brake pressure regulator lever in direction shown (arrow) to stop.
-- Loosen nut -1-
-- Place drill bit -2- between tension spring and bearing.
