Trapezoidal Arm Support Bonded Rubber Bushing

-- Install puller such as Kukko No. 21/2 in bushing so claws of puller are located between two bushing halves.

-- Tighten nut -a- forcefully.

-- Install -M14- bolt, approx. 80 mm (3.14 in.) long, in bushing hole and press out one bearing half.

NOTE:

If the bushing core breaks when being pressed out, the remaining bushing half should be pressed out with a suitable pressing tool, and/or the outer metal sleeve should be cut with a hacksaw.

-- Press out second bushing half.

-- Press rear bushing half in (with 8 identification knobs on front of bushing) to stop.

NOTE:

Stop pressing procedure immediately when the bushing contacts the support evenly all around.

-- Press front bushing half in approx. 5 mm (0.20 in.).
