Adjusting wheel bearing play
Wheel bearing play is correctly adjusted if it is still possible to move the thrust washer with the screwdriver by applying finger pressure (do not attempt to pry on the thrust washer).
-- To adjust, tighten hex nut firmly while turning wheel so that bearing does not jam. Check that the thrust washer can still be moved with a screwdriver. Then, secure with slotted locking ring and new cotter pin.
