Standard Vehicle Height, Readapting
The standard vehicle height must be readapted, if:
- The coupling rod on a level control system sensor was loosened from the control arm.
- A level control system sensor was removed or installed / replaced.
- A shock absorber with the damping adjustment valve was replaced on the front or rear axle.
- An air spring strut on the front or rear axle was replaced.
- The Drivetrain Control Module - J775- was loosened and reattached / removed and installed / replaced.
Requirements
- The vehicle must be standing on a level surface.
- The vehicle may not be loaded.
Procedure
-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Select and start the Diagnostic operating mode.
-- Select the Test plan tab.
-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:
- Diagnostic-capable systems
- 0074 - Suspension control J775
- 0074 - Suspension control functions
- 0074 - Basic setting complete
-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
- The standard vehicle height is reached.
