Passenger Occupant Detection System, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
- Make sure the connectors are pushed in all the way and that they engage audibly.
- If the instrument cluster indicates a fault in the airbag system after assembly, the DTC memory must be checked, erased, and then checked again. Refer to the appropriate Service Information.
- When installing a new service kit, apply the basic setting for the passenger occupant detection system control module. Refer to ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR WORKING ON PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM FOR FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG DEACTIVATION, MARKET-SPECIFIC VERSION .
- Select the "Airbag" function in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to complete.
