Instrument Cluster, Replacing, Resetting Sri Example

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Fault Read Out Device: VAG1551 

-- Connect : VAG1551  , select "Rapid data transfer", turn ignition on.

-- Press buttons 1  and 7  (Instrument Cluster). confirm with button Q  and advance with →  button.

-- Press buttons 1  and 0  (Adaptation), and confirm with button Q  .

-- Press buttons 0  and 5  (OEL), confirm with button Q  and advance with →  button.

-- Enter adaptation values which represent the mileage and time remaining until the 7, 500/12, 000km oil change. (In the case of cluster replacement on a vehicle with 6, 000km, the 6, 000km and 90 days remaining until the 12, 000 oil change represents a value of 00006 (distance) and 00009 (time).

-- Press Q  button to confirm input.

-- Press buttons 0  and 6  , 0  and 7  , 0  and 8  , make the necessary value calculations and press Q  button to confirm new values.
