Acceleration Switch
WARNING:
Switch ignition off when removing or installing.
Installation location: under left rear seat bench
Arrow -a- on the switch points toward the front of the vehicle.
The acceleration switch is a mercury switch activated during deceleration. During ABS-assisted braking, the switch provides additional stabilization.
NOTE:
The acceleration switch has been eliminated starting with 07.92 production.
