Cam Adjustment Actuator, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Check the O-rings for damage
The cam adjustment actuator pin must be brought into the installation position.

-- Press down the cam adjustment actuator pin -arrow- by hand.

The adjusting element pin must not be in the outward position.

-- Coat the O-rings with engine oil.

-- Install the air filter upper section. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI Q7/Q8 .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
