Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

- The transmission is removed. Refer to the appropriate Service Information. .
-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, WITH LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER INSTALLED .
-- Position the Counterhold - Multiple Use:T10172A with Counterhold - Kit - Adapter 2 Counterhold - Kit - Adapter 2:T10172/2 and remove the bolt -arrow-.
-- Remove the chain sprocket -1- from the oil pump and leave in the installation position.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and oil pump -1-.
