Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor -V101-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

All except Audi A8/Q7/Q8:

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

Audi A6/A7:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the air guides -1 and 2-.

Audi Q5:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air duct -1-.

-- Press the release buttons on both sides and remove the secondary air injection hose -arrow- (example illustration).

-- Remove the noise insulation (front). Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

All except Audi A8/Q7/Q8:

-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow-, remove the air duct hose from the turbocharger and push it to the side.

-- Always seal off any open connections with plugs that are thoroughly cleaned from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122  .

Audi A8:

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the right air duct hose from the turbocharger.

-- Seal off any open lines and connections with plugs that are thoroughly cleaned from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122  .

Audi Q5:

-- Remove the bolt -2- and free up the wiring duct -1- -arrows- and push to the side.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -arrow- to do so loosen the bumper cover end plate on the lock carrier. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Push the coolant pipes to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and free up the wiring duct -1- -arrows- and push to the side.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Remove the secondary air injection pipe -3- to do so push the release buttons on both sides.

-- Remove the bolts -5- and nut -2- and the Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor -V101- -item 1-
