- Replace after removing
- 5 Nm +45°
Guide Rail
Gear
- With the chain sprocket for the camshaft timing chain
Camshaft Timing Chain
- Removing from the camshafts. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING FROM CAMSHAFTS .
- Do not separate from the tensioning rail Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Camshaft Timing Chain
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Tensioning Rail
- Do not separate from the camshaft timing chain Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Camshaft Timing Chain
Mounting Pin
- 23 Nm
Bolt
- 9 Nm
Chain Tensioner
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CHAIN TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Seal
- Replace after removing
Control Valve
- For the camshaft adjuster
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Installing .
O-Ring
- Replace if damaged
Camshaft Adjuster
- For the exhaust camshaft
- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.
- After removal replace the friction disc (diamond disc) Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Camshaft Timing Chain
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING FROM CAMSHAFTS .
Friction Disc (Diamond Disc)
- For the connection security between the camshaft adjuster and camshaft end
- Replace after removing
- Bring the new friction disc (diamond disc) without kinking into its installation position
Camshaft Adjuster
- For the intake camshaft
- Allocation. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.
- After removal replace the friction disc (diamond disc) Cylinder Bank 1 (Right) Camshaft Timing Chain
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING FROM CAMSHAFTS .
Friction Disc (Diamond Disc)
- For the connection security between the camshaft adjuster and camshaft end
- Replace after removing
- Bring the new friction disc (diamond disc) without kinking into its installation position
O-Ring
- Replace if damaged
Control Valve
- For the camshaft adjuster
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Installing .
Gliding Piece
- Replace after removing
Guide Pin
- Replace after removing
- 5 Nm +45°
