Overview - Radiator/Radiator Fan

  1. Radiator
  2. Plug
    • Not available separately.
    • Do not open
  3. O-Ring
    • Not available separately.
  4. Coolant Hose
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  5. O-Rings
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
    • Coat with coolant
  6. Coolant Hose
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  7. Coolant Ventilation Line
    • To the coolant expansion tank
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  8. O-Ring
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
    • Coat with coolant
  9. Rubber Bushing
    • For the radiator
  10. Sleeve
  11. Retaining Pin
    • Disengage and remove using the screwdriver
  12. Air Duct
  13. Rubber Bushing
    • For the radiator
  14. Radiator Bracket
  15. Bolt
    • 5 Nm
  16. Backing Plate
  17. Bolt
    • 4.5 Nm

Connect the Coolant Hose to the Connector Coupling

-- Replace the damaged clamp -3-.

-- Check the O-ring -2- or Y-ring -5- for damage. The O-ring can optionally be replaced by the Y-ring. When installing the Y-ring, mind the installation position, the groove points towards the inside.

-- Coat the O-ring or Y-ring with coolant on the new component.

-- Press the coolant hose on to the coolant pipe -1- until it engages audibly.

-- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connector coupling is engaged correctly.
