Ribbed Belt For A/C Compressor, Removing And Installing, 3.0L Engine: Removing

-- Remove the generator ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT FOR STARTER GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 2.9L ENGINE or Refer to RIBBED BELT FOR GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 3.0L ENGINE .
-- Remove the cover.
-- Loosen the bolt -1- 1 /2 turn.
CAUTION:
Risk of destroying a used ribbed belt by reversing the running direction.
- Mark the running direction before removal.
- Pay attention to the running direction when reinstalling.
-- To release the tension on the ribbed belt, pivot the tensioner clockwise -arrow A- using the TORX T55 socket and remove the ribbed belt.
