Wheel Bearing Unit, Removing And Installing, Fwd: Removing

-- Remove the brake shield. Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the cap by lightly tapping on the : VW637/2  -1-.

-- Pry the cap with the : VW637/2  -1-.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the nut/bolt if handled incorrectly.

- Never use an impact wrench to loosen or tighten.

- Position the nut/bolt by hand only and screw in the first threads.

-- Remove the nut/bolt located below and remove the wheel bearing from the axle stub.

-- Remove the front seal -arrow- from the axle stub.
