Hinges, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Install the hinge according the marking made during removal.

-- Adjust the hinge. Refer to SIDE, LENGTH AND HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT AT HINGE .

If the fender flange is being replaced the following adjustment should be performed:

-- Place the hinge -2- on the fender flange.

• The threaded hole must be located on the rear lower edges -arrows- for this. This corresponds to the maximum distance of the hood to the fender, the door and the A-pillar.

-- Tighten the bolts -1 and 3- hand-tight.

-- Adjust the hinge. Refer to SIDE, LENGTH AND HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT AT HINGE .

• When opening and closing the hood or the front door pay attention to the clearance.

-- Tighten the bolts.
