Charge Door Unit, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Open the cover of the left luggage compartment side trim panel and free up the emergency release cable.

-- Remove the charge door trim. Refer to FUEL FILLER DOOR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the charge door unit by using a small screwdriver to pierce the markings -arrows-.

-- At the top of the charge door unit, pierce a small screwdriver through the charge door markings over the retainers at an angle from below in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Gently lift the screwdriver upward and release the retainers.

-- On the underside, pierce the screwdriver at the markings at an angle from above to below.

-- Gently push the screwdriver downward and release the retainers.

-- Pull the charge door unit out of the opening in stages.

-- Disconnect the connectors.

-- Remove the charge door unit, at the same time guide out the cable.
