Transmission Fluid Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing
NOTE:
- General repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL REPAIR INFORMATION
- Guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
- Move vehicle onto a four-pillar workshop hoist or over a work pit so that it is absolutely horizontal for the refilling.
- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to the appropriate service information.
- Equipped on some models: remove the bolts -arrows- and nut -2-.
- Remove the end panel -1- for the crossbrace
- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit - SMN372500- underneath.
WARNING:
Danger of eye Injury.
- Wear protective eyewear.
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the transmission.
Without any or with too little transmission fluid inside the transmission:
- Do not start the engine.
- Do not tow the vehicle
