Transmission Fluid, Draining And Filling: Filling

WARNING: Danger of eye injury. Wear protective eyewear.
CAUTION: Risk of damaging the transmission.
  • Only use the specified transmission fluid (MTF) in the parts list for the dual clutch transmission 0CJ, 0CK, 0CL, 0DN, 0DP.
  • Using other fluids can cause malfunctions or transmission failure.
  • Note the allocation. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
  • The -VAS6617- must be clean and ATF must not be mixed with another fluid! Apply transmission fluid (MTF) to the hand pump if necessary.
  1. Remove the plug -arrow- for the right inspection and fill hole on the transmission housing with the -T40087-.

  2. Slowly fill transmission fluid (MTF) using -VAS6617-.
    • Transmission fluid (MTF) specification. Refer to the Parts Catalog.
  3. Repeat the procedure gradually every 15 seconds, until the transmission fluid is 2 mm under the lower edge of the inspection and fill hole.
    NOTE: It is important to foloow the waiting period to make sure the various oil spaces in the transmission are filled equally.
  4. Tighten the plug.

    Further installation is performed in reverse order of the removal.
