Sill Panel Trim, Removing And Installing: Installing
- The vehicle and the trim must be at room temperature.
- The adhesive surfaces must be free of dirt and grease.
-- Remove the adhesive residue from the body.
-- Clean the painted side of the adhesive surface with Cleaning Solution:D 009 401 04 and let dry.
-- Vehicles without cut-outs for pins in the side sill: remove the pins on the sill panel trim.
-- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape -2 and 3-.
-- Position the sill panel trim -1- over the pins on the side sill -arrows-.
-- Vehicles without cut-outs for the pin in the side sill: position the sill panel trim on the identification. If necessary, reference to the position on the opposite side.
-- Push the sill panel trim onto the side sill using the :3356 .
- Vehicle resting time is at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
