-- Remove the bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.

-- Vehicles with pedestrian protection: remove and press down the connector lock and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Cut the cable tie.

-- Release the tabs -arrows- and remove the molded foam part -1- from the impact member.
