Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor -V101-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air duct -1-.

-- Press the release buttons on both sides and remove the secondary air injection hose -arrow-.

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow-, remove the air duct hose from the turbocharger and push it to the side.

-- Always seal off any open connections with plugs that are thoroughly cleaned from the : VAS6122 .

-- Remove the left and right bolt -arrow- to do so loosen the bumper cover end plate on the lock carrier. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Push the coolant pipes to the side.
