Radiator, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the impact member. Refer to IMPACT MEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the radiator shutter. Refer to RADIATOR SHUTTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles from Product Improvement:

-- Remove the condenser. Refer to CONDENSER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Continuation for All Vehicles:

-- Place the :VAS6208  underneath.

Vehicle Without High-Voltage System:

-- Pry up the clamp -2- and remove the coolant hose from the lower right of the radiator.

Vehicle with High-Voltage System:

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-.

-- Lift the clamp -3- and remove the right lower coolant hose from the radiator.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -2- and disengage the auxiliary radiator -1- with the bolt upward -arrow- and tie it up to the right side.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of injury if the radiator fan turns on by itself.

- Disconnect the connectors.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2- for the radiator fan.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air duct -1-.

-- Versions without radiator shutter: use the Elbow Assembly Tool :T10118  to release the retainers -arrow- and remove the air guides -1 and 3-.

-- Versions without radiator shutter: disconnect the connector -2- for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-.

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the refrigerant lines by tearing the inner film.

- Never bend refrigerant lines with a radius less than 100 mm.

-- Release the left and right retainers -arrows-, carefully disengage the condenser -1- from the radiator and tie it up to the side.

-- Remove the upper air duct -2- to do so release the catch -arrows-.

-- Remove the charge air cooler. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Lift the clamps -1 and 2-, remove and free up the coolant connection from the radiator.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -2- and push the radiator bracket -1- with the radiator toward the front in direction of -arrow-.

-- Release the left and right catches in direction of -arrows- and remove the retaining pin -1- for the radiator upward.

-- Remove the radiator.

-- Press the fan shroud left and right locking tabs at the same time in direction of -arrow- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator.
