Camshaft Timing Chain, Removing From Camshafts, Cylinder Bank 1 (Right): Removing
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles with Starter Generator:
-- Remove the front right wheel housing liner front section. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the air duct hose.
Continuation for All Vehicles:
-- Loosen the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct hose.
-- Remove the right lower air duct pipe on the turbocharger. Refer to LOWER AIR DUCT PIPE ON TURBOCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Free up the coolant line with the clip on the bracket -2-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the bracket -2- with the vacuum reservoir -3- to the side.
-- Disconnect the connectors and free them up:
- Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-
- Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-
- Mechanical Coolant Pump Switch Valve -N649-
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Disconnect the connectors and free them up:

Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor -G71-
4 -
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Heating Element -N79-
5 -
EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80-
-- Free up the wiring harness on the clip -arrows-.
-- Press the release buttons on both sides, and remove the hose -6- for the EVAP system and the hose -3- for the crankcase ventilation.
TIP:
Push the release buttons carefully with a 45° needle nose pliers on both sides.
-- Free up the vacuum line from the clips -1-.
-- Push the wiring duct upward.
-- If installed, disconnect the connector -1- for the Tank Ventilation Pressure Sensor 1 -G950-.
-- Free up the wires -1, 2 and 3- on the bracket -4-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the bracket to the side.
