Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Transmission Side: Removing

- Vehicles without high-voltage system: transmission removed. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
- Vehicle with high-voltage system: engine is removed and is secured on the : VAS6931 . Refer to ENGINE, SECURING TO Engine and Transmission Holder .
-- Remove the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8-. (There is also equipment with only six bolts depending on the version).
-- Loosen the sealing flange from the bond.
-- Cover open engine components.
