Overview - Coolant Pipes

• The arrows on the coolant pipes and ends of coolant hoses must align.

1. Left Front Coolant Pipe
   • Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
3. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing.
4. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
5. Front Coolant Pipe
   • Replace after removing.
   • Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
6. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
7. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing.
8. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing.

    • Replace after removing.

    • Removing and installing. Refer to LARGE RIGHT REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Right Coolant Pipe - Tightening Specification, Vehicles Without High-Voltage System 

-- Tighten the bolt -2- to 9 Nm.

Right Coolant Pipe - Tightening Specification, Vehicles with High-Voltage System 

-- Tighten the bolt -3- to 8 Nm.

Coolant Pipe on Longitudinal Member, Equipment Versions without Parking/Auxiliary Heater and Vehicles without High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -arrows- to 5 Nm.

Coolant Pipes on Longitudinal Member, Equipment Versions with Parking/Auxiliary Heater or Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

Vehicles without High-Voltage System: 

-- Tighten the nuts -arrows- and bolt -2- to 5 Nm.

Vehicles with High-Voltage System: 

-- Tighten the nuts -arrows- to 5 Nm and bolt -2- to 8 Nm.

Coolant Pipe on Inner Left Longitudinal Member, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -4, 5, 7 and 12- to 4.5 Nm.

Coolant Pipe on Outer Left Longitudinal Member, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -2, 4, 7 and 9- to 4.5 Nm.

Coolant Pipe from Power Unit to High-Voltage Battery, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -1, 6, 7, 8- to 4.5 Nm.

Front Coolant Pipe to Power Unit, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the bolt -2- to 2.5 Nm and the nut -4- to 4.5 Nm.

Rear Coolant Pipe to Power Unit, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -2 and 4- to 4.5 Nm.

Coolant Pipe to PTC Heater, Vehicles with High-Voltage System - Tightening Specification 

-- Tighten the nuts -5- to 4.5 Nm.
