Charge Air Cooler, Removing And Installing, 2.9L Engine: Removing
-- Pay attention to the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Drain the coolant (refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING ), place the container of the :VAS5014 or the :VAS6208 underneath.
-- Lift the clamp -1- and remove the left upper coolant hose from the radiator and push to the side.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and disconnect the coolant hose.
-- Remove the left headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the left front wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Remove the left auxiliary radiator. Refer to LEFT AUXILIARY RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen the clamps -1 and 3- and remove the air duct hose.
-- Disconnect the connector -4-.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -2- at the same time to not damage it.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the screw -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Charge Air Pressure Sensor -G31-.
-- Loosen the hose clamps -4- and remove the air duct hoses.
-- Loosen the clamps -3- and remove the coolant hoses.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the coolant pipe -1-.
-- Disengage the charge air cooler with bracket on the longitudinal member and remove.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the coolant pipe -2-.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -4- and free up and do not damage.
-- Disengage the charge air cooler -3- from the bracket -1- and remove.
