-- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center console cover. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the selector mechanism -1- in the direction of -arrow- from the center console insert until the connector is accessible.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.
