Stabilizer Bar, Removing And Installing, Versions With Sway Stabilization: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

• Do not twist the wiring harness.

-- Re-energize the 48 Volt system. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Put the system into operation after installing a new stabilizer bar with sway stabilization.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Select and start the Diagnostic  operating mode.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Suspension
• Electro-mechanical active sway stabilization
• 01 - OBD-capable systems
• D5 - Sway Stabilization Control Module 2 J1096, Rear Axle
• D5 - Sway Stabilization Control Module, Rear Axle Functions
• D5 - Basic setting
• D5 - Operation

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
