Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the gasket and o-ring after removal.

-- Push the seal -1- on the Thrust Piece:T40425  -arrows-.

• The open side of seal faces upward.

-- Install the seal with the Thrust Piece:T40425  -item 1- to do so turn the bolts -arrows- all around correspondingly one half a turn all the way.

-- Check if the Thrust Piece is positioned all around on the cylinder block. If necessary, drive in with light hammering.
