High Pressure Sensor -G65-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- On vehicles with high-voltage system, switch on the "parking air conditioner" function (deactivate). Refer to the Owner's Manual.

-- Switch off the ignition.

Vehicles without radiator shutter 

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles with radiator shutter 

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

Continuation for All Vehicles 

-- Release and disconnect the connector -A-.

CAUTION:

Danger or frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- If refrigerant flows out of the refrigerant line longer than 1 second when loosening the pressure sensor, tighten the pressure sensor and replace the faulty check valve.

- Evacuate or drain refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes elapse after extracting or draining the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, extract or drain the refrigerant again. Pressure develops in the refrigerant circuit due to evaporation.

-- Remove the High Pressure Sensor -G65- -A- from the connection on the condenser -C-.
