Condenser, Removing And Installing: Removing
Vehicles with high-voltage system (Audi Q7 e-tron)
-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner". Refer to Owner's Manual.
-- Initiate the A/C system basic setting through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- and open the power-activated valves through the stored routine "Extract, evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

-- Switch off the ignition.
-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit (R134a) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234ya) (1 of 2) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234yf) (2 of 2) .
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Gasoline engine: pry up the clamp -arrow- and remove the coolant line from the charge air cooling circuit cooler.
-- Remove the bolts -2- and the move the bracket -1- with the cable toward the rear.
-- If the upper air duct -3- is equipped, release the left and right catches -4- and remove the upper air duct -3-.
-- On vehicles with an electric radiator shutter, remove it. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
-- Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING AT CONDENSER .
-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -2- for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-.
-- Release the catches -arrows- and remove the condenser -1- slightly from the radiator, at the same time push the left and right air ducts to the side if necessary.
-- Remove the condenser upward from the mount on the radiator.
