Check Valve In Refrigerant Line From Inner Heat EXCHANGER, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Replace the O-rings -2-. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS and Parts Information for the version.

-- Check the alignment pin -7- for damage and proper seating.

-- Install the check valve -3- on the correct side. Refer to SYSTEM OVERVIEW - REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT ON VEHICLES WITH HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM (AUDI Q7 E-TRON)  for the flow direction.

-- Install the bolts -5- (with washer -6-) by hand until the stop.

-- Install the refrigerant line -4- on the connection to the inner heat exchanger. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Check the refrigerant lines -3 and 4- for correct routing.

-- Install the bolts -5-.

-- Check the routing of the refrigerant lines after attaching. They must be inserted into the provided brackets and must not come in contact with other components.

-- Reinstall the removed components in the reverse order and reattach detached components.

-- Evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit (R134a) (Refrigerant R134a Servicing, Refrigerant Circuit, Working with A/C Service Station) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234ya) (1 of 2) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234yf) (2 of 2) .

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Initiate the A/C system basic setting through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024-, and activate the power-controlled valves through the stored routine "Charge/flush the refrigerant circuit stop routine" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function.

-- Check the DTC memory of the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- (and of the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024-) and erase any displayed malfunctions using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function.

-- Start the A/C system after charging the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING AFTER CHARGING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
