A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor 3 -G827-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Check the connection -4- for contamination or damage. Clean or replace the refrigerant line if necessary.

-- Replace the O-ring seal -3- and coat lightly with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .

-- Install the sensor -2- and tighten.

-- Evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit (R134a) (Refrigerant R134a Servicing, Refrigerant Circuit, Working with A/C Service Station) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234ya) (1 of 2) or Working with A/C Service Station (R1234yf) (2 of 2) .

-- If the A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor 2 -G826- is replaced (addressable versions), perform an addressing.

Procedure 

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Press the Select custom test  button and select the following tree structure in order:

-- Initiate the basic setting of the A/C system through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- and activate the power-controlled valves using one of the routines stored there. "Charge/flush the refrigerant circuit stop routine" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function.

-- Start the A/C system after charging the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING AFTER CHARGING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

-- Then retrieve the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
