Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine Bung Set :VAS6122 
• Refrigerant Sockets :T10364 

• For all the following work, close the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set :VAS6122  .

• Depending on the vehicle version, it is installed in the left plenum chamber (near the brake fluid reservoir, as shown here) under the plenum chamber cover or in the left side of the engine compartment (on vehicles with a high-voltage system, for example).
• There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf). Refer to SERVICE CONNECTION DIFFERENCES DEPENDING ON REFRIGERANT (R134A OR R1234YF) or Parts Information.
