1. Heater and A/C Unit with Evaporator ("Mix" or "High" A/C System)
   • May only be removed when the refrigerant circuit is empty; bring the vehicle to a workshop that has the necessary tools and in which the work can be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, GENERAL INFORMATION or LAWS AND REGULATIONS .

   • Heater and A/C Unit with Evaporator, Removing and Installing. Refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

2. Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Evaporator Vent Temperature Sensor -G263-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Right Footwell Temperature Control Door Motor -V412-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Footwell Temperature Control Door Motor -V412-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

4. Right Temperature Control Door Motor -V159-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Temperature Control Door Motor -V159-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Right Center Vent Motor -V111-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Center Vent Motor -V111-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

6. Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261-
   • Check the Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Left Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G261-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
7. Right Side Vent Motor -V300-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Side Vent Motor -V300-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Bracket, Removing and Installing. Refer to BRACKET FOR RIGHT ADJUSTMENT MOTORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (ON A "Mix" OR "High" A/C SYSTEM), PR NUMBER 9AU/ 9AH/ 9AQ .
8. Right Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G262-
   • Check the Right Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G262-. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Footwell Vent Temperature Sensor -G262-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Rear Air Distribution Door Motor -V427- / Rear Air Quantity Motor -V443-
   • There are different names for these motors depending on the version of the A/C system (Rear Air Distribution Door Motor -V427- for a "Low" or "Mid" A/C system and Rear Air Quantity Motor -V443- for a "Mix" or "High" A/C system) and have the same component location.
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Rear Air Distribution Door Motor -V427- / Rear Air Quantity Motor -V443- / Right Rear Air Distribution Motor -V594-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
10. Right Footwell Door Motor -V109-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to Right Footwell Door Motor -V109-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
11. Auxiliary Heater Control Module -J604- with Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-
    • Installed depending on vehicle equipment
    • If a parking heater installed as optional equipment is activated as an auxiliary heater in vehicles with a diesel engine, no auxiliary air heater control module -J604- and thus no auxiliary heater heating element -Z35- are installed.
    • On vehicles without an Auxiliary Heater Control Module -J604- (with Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-), the opening in the heater and A/C unit is sealed with a cap. Refer to Auxiliary Heater Control Module .

12. Right Condensation Water Drain Connection (Passenger Side)
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to CONDENSATION WATER DRAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
13. Connection for Glove Compartment Cooling Air Duct Hose
    • On vehicles without the optional equipment of "glove compartment cooling", the opening in the heater and A/C unit is sealed with a cap.
    • Checking the hose to the air duct for glove compartment cooling
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to AIR DUCT FOR GLOVE COMPARTMENT COOLING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
14. Fresh Air Blower -V2- with Fresh Air Blower Control Module -J126-
    • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
    • To check, Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding"  function

15. Left Footwell Door Motor -V108-

18. Defroster Door Motor -V107-
    • On RHD vehicles, the Defroster Door Motor -V107- is not on the left side, but rather on the right side of the heater and A/C unit.

24. Expansion Valve
    • May only be removed when the refrigerant circuit is empty; bring the vehicle to a workshop that has the necessary tools and in which the work can be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, GENERAL INFORMATION or LAWS AND REGULATIONS .
    • There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf). Refer to Parts Information.
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to FRONT EXPANSION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
25. Boot
    • For sealing the holes through the plenum chamber rear panel for the refrigerant lines
26. Dust and Pollen Filter
    • Different versions as a replacement part (with and without activated charcoal filter element). Refer to the Parts Information.
    • Note the replacement intervals. Refer to the Maintenance Tables.

27. Fresh Air Door Motor -V438-
