Front Air Suspension Strut, Evacuating

Procedure 

-- Remove the air spring:

• Front: SUSPENSION STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
• Rear: SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

-- Release the residual pressure retaining valve -3- on the air spring and allow the air pressure to escape.

-- Dispose of the air spring.

TIP:

• The front air spring is shown installed.
• If the air line is removed from a component, check if the cutting ring is seated on the air line.
