WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2024 Audi SQ5, 2024 Audi Q5 e, 2024 Audi Q5, 2023 Audi SQ5, and 2023 Audi Q5 e. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- On vehicles without an A/C system (only with a heater) the layout, function, as well as the removal and installation for the components necessary for the operation of the heater (for example Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50-, Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-, Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- etc.) is the same as on vehicle with a "Low" A/C system.
- Components which are only necessary for the A/C system (for example A/C compressor, condenser, High Pressure Sensor -G65-, refrigerant lines etc.) are not installed on a vehicle without and A/C system.
- The expansion valve -C- is installed on a vehicle without an A/C system only to seal the pass-through in the grommet to the vehicle interior.
- The connections on the expansion valve (for the A/C system refrigerant lines) are connected on vehicles without an A/C system with a closure cap -A- (tightening specification of the nut -B- 8 Nm). Refer to the Parts Information.
- The cable grommet for the A/C system refrigerant lines (from the area under the left fender in the plenum chamber) is closed on vehicles without an A/C system with a closure cap -A-. Refer to the appropriate Parts Information.
