Sunroof Shade, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

When assembling or disassembling components, cover the surrounding area in order to avoid damaging or dirtying components.

If the electrical system malfunctions, using a commercially available hex socket head wrench, rotate the sun shade motor into removal position (completely open). Refer to Sunroof Shade Motor -V260-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Move the sun shade to the fully open position -arrows-.

-- Remove the headliner. Refer to Roof Trim Panels .

-- Remove the front glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear glass panel. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the frame. Refer to GLASS PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Turn the shade back all the way at the drive using a hex wrench..

-- Remove the sun shade motor. Refer to Sunroof Shade Motor -V260-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right bolts -1-.
