The following dimensions represent the distances at the marked points. This must also be oriented to the layout of the original adhesive bead on the removed component.
- Windshield
- Removing and Installing. Refer to WINDSHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SECURITY .
- Distance to A-pillars: dimension -d- = greater than 3 mm; center if necessary
- Dimension and position of the windshield to the clamping strip varies along the A-pillar
- Adhesive Bead
- Observe the minimum curing time. Refer to Installing .
- Different distances to window edge:
- Dimension -a- = 7.7 mm
- Dimension -b- = 6.8 mm
- Dimension -c- = 8.9 mm
- Dimension -e- = 1 mm
- Adhesive bead thickness. Refer to Adhesive application: .
- Windshield Frame
- Plenum Chamber Cover Frame
- No replacement part
- With a new window glass remove the protective piping. Refer to Figure.

- Replace if reusing an undamaged windshield
