Undamaged Right Side Window, Removing, Security

Removing

-- Remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to C-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and remove the C-pillar protecting plate -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the antenna amplifier -2-.

-- In the window glass cutting area, protect the side panel and roof against paint damage with adhesive tape.

CAUTION:

Risk of injury to the hands and eyes from glass fragments.

Getting cut is possible.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Wear safety gloves.

-- Place the Window Removal Set - Cutting Cord:VAS 861 001/1A all around under the side window seal and secure on the end on the door striker.

TIP:

Slightly lift the molding using the Wedge Set:T10383/1 .

-- Wrap the Bonded Window Tool Kit - Pull Handle:VAS 861 001/1A -1- multiple times around for example a Brake Charger/Bleeder Unit - Adapter:V.A.G 1351/1 , -2-.

-- Cut free the top of the side window.

-- Secure the upper side window using adhesive tape.

-- Completely cut free the top of the side window.

-- Remove the side window from the side window frame.
