Rear Window, Installing, Security

• Pay attention to the repair information. Refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .
• Required Tools and Materials for Removal and Installation. Refer to REQUIRED TOOLS AND MATERIALS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Perform the new separation cut -1- twice around the window glass and secure using a thin coat of window adhesive at the same time the separation cut must be approximately 40 cm on each end.

-- Prepare the undamaged window glass for installing. Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Prepare the new window glass for installation. Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Prepare the body flange for installation. Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Insert the rear window into the window opening using suction lifters.

-- Center the window glass at the sides.

-- Insert the spacer 2 mm -1- between the rear window and rear lid on the side and below.

-- Secure the window in window opening with adhesive tape.

-- Open the rear lid and support so that the rear window is horizontal.

-- After hardening remove the spacer -1-.

-- The minimum curing time is 12 hours.
