Rear Impact Guard, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the cover for the rear tunnel brace. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Left: remove the nuts -2- and bolts -1-.
-- Push the underbody trim panel -4- to the side.
-- Remove the rear underbody trim panel. Refer to REAR UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and the bolts -2-.
-- Release the catch -1- and disengage the cable holder -3-.
-- Remove the bolts -2 and 4-.
-- Remove the nuts -5-.
-- Remove the impact guard -1- at the same time guide out the coolant lines -3-.
-- Support with Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS 6931 and universal mounting plate from the Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1-.
