Wheel Bearing Unit, Removing And Installing, Fwd: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace the cap after removing.

-- Clean the front seal.

-- Install the front seal and grease the axle stub -arrow- lightly with Grease.

-- Install the brake caliper and the brake rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

There is a risk of premature wear on the wheel bearing.

Use the tools pictured to avoid any moisture entering through a damaged dust cap.

-- Drive in the new cap all the way using the Camshaft Installer Kit - Sleeve :3241/4 -1-.

-- Install the brake shield. Refer to BRAKE SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
